Hope you all are enjoying the amazing Fall weather!  It was a beautiful time to be at Valle Crucis for the Senior High Conference last weekend. Kudos to Jamaica Reece Julien and Leah Donatelli for their leadership on the Diocesan Youth Council! 

This SUNDAY 10.31.10, we have Sunday School at 10:10am in the Warner Building.  There is currently no scheduled EYC event due to  Halloween, but I am wide open to meet with any EYC members that would like to meet up for Pumpkin Latees, lunch or dinner.  I would LOVE to fill my Sunday with as many visits as possible so Be in touch if you are interested!

We have some exciting events coming up in in November that I hope you will enjoy. 

First up on November 7 is an Open Mic / Talent Night with Bishop Porter Taylor!  Anything goes! From joke telling to Karaoke so dust off your instruments and brush up on your skills, its time to shine for a good cause.  Cost will be 5$ and all monies will go toward sponsoring a child at our companion diocese in Durgupur India. The event is open to all youth in the diocese and is being hosted at St. James Hendersonville. Please RSVP for transportation. We will be leaving from the Cathedral at 3:15pm and returning around 6:15pm.

November 14th is our 1/2 day High Ropes Adventure trip with NAVITAT.  Cost for our group is 50$ per participant and we have scholarships available upon request.  Our  limit is 16 participants for our group ( 4 adult chaperon spots and 12 youth participants)

If you are interested in this outing but your name is not on the list above, please let me know  ASAP and I will start a waiting list in the event that any new spots open up. There is also a possibility of creating a November 21st outing if needed.

If your name IS on the reservation list it is important that you secure your spot with payment by Wednesday November 3rd. Checks can be made to "All Souls Cathedral" and ear tagged "Navitat". Full cost for your portion of the outing is 50$ or 25$ if requesting scholarship.  Pls. know that Navitat policy is rain or shine and the event will only be rescheduled or refunded if weather conditions are dangerous.

It is important that we arrive at the site at least 20 minutes before our schedule 1pm tour time so please plan to be at the Cathedral no later than 11:50am on Sunday November 14th.  I will be in touch soon with further details. Until then.. check out www.navitat.com !
