EYC Events for August and Beyond!
Biltmore Arts & Crafts Fair, Diocesan Acolyte Festival, Big Bad Barn Dance, first day of Sunday School, and SPLASH!
Saturday / Sunday August 7 & 8
EYC Volunteers are needed to run the snow
cone & popcorn machine stations at the Biltmore Village Arts &
Crafts Fair. Monies raised will go to benefit local non profit groups.
Contact Shawna to claim your morning or afternoon shift.
Saturday August 14th Diocesan Acolyte
Festival The Cathedral group will leave from All Souls at 8am
to drive to Hickory. Event times are 9:30-4:00 pm. Contact Gaelyn Evangreene at gevangreene@yahoo.com

Sunday August 15th
It's your Youth Coordinators "Big" Birthday!
And there is an unofficial youth event that you and your families are
OFFICIALLY invited to! Mark your calendars for a Big Bad Barn Dance at
Montreat 6-8:30pm. Ill be in touch w more details soon.

Afternoon Event...
Get ready for SPLASH! Our big diocesan EYC
kickoff event is returning to its favorite venue...CAMP ROCKMONT. If
you don't know what "The Blob" is, its time to find out! This is a not
to be missed super fun event! The All Souls EYC will be meeting at the
Cathedral at 12:30 to carpool to Black Mountain. Event times are
1-5pm. Cost is 15$ and includes lunch. Please contact Shawna by 8/13 to

Sunday August 29th
Training Day for Liturgical Ministries! This
event if for all current acolytes and for any new recruits to the
acolyte program. There are also positions open for youth to train and
serve as ushers, greeters and readers. The training begins at 1pm and
includes lunch. ALL youth who attend the training event are invited to
an EYC L.E.M ( Lay Eucharistic Ministry) outing that will take place at
FUN DEPOT! We have been offered an awesome group rate on a package that
includes 2 hours of play time and 4 special attractions for a cost of
