EYC Happenings for JUNE 6th

 

Acolyte Recognition at the 9 and 11:15 services!

 

Afternoon activity:

This Sunday is our last regularly scheduled EYC event for the school year.  We will be doing a "make up" date for our Earth Day project at the ABCCM women and children's shelter. Plan to meet at 141 Hillside 3pm-6pm to help GREEN UP THE SCENE.  Our youth group will help host an ice cream social for the women and children and then set out on our task list which will include; installing recycling bins, spreading playground mulch, painting a picnic tabe and park benches, filling bird feeders and planting a flower garden.  Funding for these projects is from last years EARTH DAY CAFE fundraiser.  see attached photo

 

A few supplies we are in need of include:

2 wheel burrows, 5 flat head shovels, 3 garden rakes, 4 hand shovels, and a few extra paint brushes. please let me know if you are able to contribute any of these items for the afternoon.

 

Work GLOVES and old clothes are a good idea.
