Hello Episcopal Youth Community!

Spring is just around the corner and I wanted to make sure that you all have some important calendar dates for our upcoming events.

March 14th

This Sunday we have a unique opportunity to experience the talent and message of  FRIENDS OF THE GROOM.  "FOG" is a theater troupe that tours nationally to share the gospel through comedy and dramatic performances.  This Sunday's production is set to take place at 4pm in the nave. This is an inter-generational event so feel free to bring your parents, your mentor, your siblings, your grandparents, your neighbor.... ( you get the picture).  Not to be missed. Hope to see you here at the Cathedral 4-5:15pm  And oh BTW, our own Kyle Ritter and EYC members John and Milo Norlin will be part of the show!

March 21st

Taizé Worship service and pilgrimage presentation!
EYC members that took part in last Summer's Pilgrimage trip to Taizé France will be hosting a presentation in the parish hall. Join us in the parish hall at 5pm for Taizé Tea and sweet bread.  A 30 minute power point presentation is set to begin at 5:15pm. Following the presentation we will attend the Taizé Worship service that begins at 6pm in the NAVE. WE hope you will join us for this unique worship experience that includes times of silent meditation, chant, and the reading of sacred text.  http://www.taize.fr/

March 28th PALM SUNDAY

Ahhh, The big "Day of passion" that allows us a "festive breather" in the Lenten Journey before moving into some of the heavier aspects of holy week.  We are planning a party in the parish hall 4:30-6:15pm. This is set to be an open mic coffee house night and will have a number of creative outlets to engage. Kim Miller will be with us to teach the Art of Ukrainian Easter Egg Decoration.  We will also have almost 800 plastic eggs ready to be filled with candy in preparation for "the Easter Sunday All Souls egg hunt". I am currently taking names for the open mic. line up which will be open to all youth, parents and mentors so please be in touch by phone or email if you have a talent offering to contribute.
