Epiphany, Sunday plans, Camp Rockmont bonfire
Hello EYC! Hope you have had a wonder filled holiday break. Here are a few things to consider as we get back into the swing of things...
This Wednesday night, January 6th:
We will be celebrating the Feast of the Epiphany.This
will be a short evening program that focuses on retelling the story of
the arrival of the wise men. The service will be followed w a reception
in Owen Library and our All Souls tradition of "burning the greens"
Please note: Service begins at 6pm but EYC who are participating as storytellers are asked to arrive at 4:45pm for rehearsal.
Sunday January 10th at 10:10 am
Middle school meets with AK & J for Seasons of the Spirit
Senior High meets with Fr. Todd Donatelli
Confirmation Class # 2 ( What it means to be Anglican)
Youth preparing for confirmation are reminded to register for the RADIX confirmation retreat. All souls will sponsor 1/3 of yr cost if registered by the Jan 18th deadline. Application attached.
EVENING EVENT....
EPIPHANY Bonfire at Camp Rockmont
St. James
Black Mountain will be hosting this event for youth from the Asheville
Deanery. See the attached flyer for more details.
The van will be in use by Room at the Inn so I will be needing a few parent volunteers that can meet at the church at 3:30pm and help carpool to Camp Rockmont. Please RSVP so we can plan for transportation.
