Hello Episcopal Youth Community.......... Please take a second to mark your calendars for these important events. Also, please note, there has been a few changes ***of dates for the diocesan events such as RADIX and SKI TRIP
December
- 6th Progressive Dinner and Caroling event 3pm -8pm
- Friday 11th EYC invited to assist w childcare 6 - 8pm for the "Wine and Cheese Event"
- 13th Service Project and (Gift sorting, Worship & Meal) at Church of the Advocate 1-3pm

"THE SCOOP" on Confirmation
Confirmation at All Souls is set for the Bishops Visit which is MAY 9th 2010. ( Note: It's also Mothers Day)
The EYC prepares for confirmation on an
every other year basis. Confirmation plans for 2010 are listed below.
ALL senior high youth grades 9th - 12th are invited to participate. For
those who are seriously considering being confirmed please know that
BOTH the Sunday morning classes and the Radix confirmation retreat are
strongly recommended.
Sunday Mornings at 10:10 am
January 3, 10, 17 & 24
Brian Cole and Todd Donatelli will be leading Sunday School classes on "Who We Are as Anglicans"
Topics will include; Scripture, Sacraments & a focus on the Baptismal Covenant.
Friday January 29th - 31st is the Confirmation Retreat "RADIX"
"Radix" is Latin for Roots. The conference
weekend is centered around providing a deeper understanding of the
Baptismal Covenant as the "root" of our faith. This is a Diocesan
event that takes place annual at Kanuga and is designed to be a "one
time experience" to help prepare youth for their confirmation. Cost
for the weekend is 100$ and scholarship is available.
