Meet at the Warner Building at 3pm where we will gather for our "first stop" on the progression. The annual DICKENS ON THE GREEN FESTIVAL is taking place right here in Biltmore Village Sunday afternoon and the ALL SOUL'S EYC "Caroling Troupe" will be part of the atmosphere from 3-4pm.  In addition to "roving the streets" as carolers, we will also have the option of a five minute spotlight at "center stage" which will be rotating brief performances by dancers, magicians, elves, and other musicians.

 

Fortunately the Sticpewich / Norlin family ( also known as a home-spun version of  Appalachian Van Trapps)  ; ) has volunteered to share their musical gifts in the leadership of our talent offering.    ( Thank you Jesus.. and Tahani!!)

 

Our caroling tour will continue to All Souls parishioners homes in the  Crowfield and Deerwood retirement neighborhoods. There will a few additional visits to Biltmore Forrest for appetizers  and some additional merrymaking. We are also planning to have a few special guest appearing along the way including a visit from storyteller Steve Van Allen and singer songwriter Richard Sacket. 

 

Our evening will end with a dessert stop and gift exchange at the home of the Henry Family. Please remember to bring a wrapped gift item for the swap. Gifts should be under 10$ and can also include something home made or even gently used and once loved items from home that you are ready to pass along and share. 

 

Pick-up time is set for 7:40-8pm and parents are invited by the Henrys to come in and join us during that time for warm drinks and dessert. 

 

DIRECTIONS:

The Henrys live at 47 Evelyn Place. It is just off Charlotte street. If you are driving away from down town, you will take a LEFT onto Evelyn and travel about two blocks.  The home is on the right hand side with street parking available. 

 

Please feel free to bring instruments if you would like to contribute to the evenings talent offering.

Also, dress FESTIVE & WARM as  we will be outside a good bit.
