Peace Vigil at 5:30 on Sundays
The Peace Vigil has now returned to its 5:30pm Sunday time for its weekly witness that peace is a deep part of the Church's business. Our presence is just one small way of reminding us of that, but it is not the only way we try to support peace.
A few weeks ago we held at All Souls a very successful workshop on Immigration Issues. An emerging focus for the mission of the Episcopal Peace Fellowship is to hold more such peaceful and objective discussions on items that seem to polarize our society. By the time you read this we will have had another meeting devoted to planning those for the coming year.
Our regular meeting is at 6:00pm on the Second Sunday of each month and we invite your participation and ideas. Certainly we also pray you will add your presence to our weekly Vigil for Peace. Call Ross or Gwin at 274-7821 if you would like to talk.
