Each Sunday, some All Souls parishioners make an additional offering as they attend services. The silver plate is not the vehicle for this particular one, however. A large basket, usually located near the front door, is the vessel for receiving offerings to help meet Human Needs. It usually holds 25-40 pounds of canned or dried food offerings by the end of the final service of the day. Loving Food Resources receives this food and it goes directly onto the shelves at the pantry.
