Martha’s Helpers reaches out to parishioners who need food by providing a meal, or more, when there is a need (sickness, surgery, new baby…). Habitat's Episcopal House VIII

Asheville Area Habitat for Humanity and the Asheville Area Episcopal churches are about to begin a new home for a worthy Asheville family (Rodrick and Yelena Scott and their infant son). We will begin construction of their two bedroom house on Warren Haynes Boulevard on September 15. There will be plenty of information available and many different opportunities to participate for anyone interested.

Expansion of Human Needs Basket

LFR has been the sole recipient of the weekly donations of food and personal care items into the basket at the front door of the church in the past few years. Beginning in September, LFR and the Children First program at the Emma Resource Center will share these donations.
