2. Next everyone chose an idea
from a post-it note and took ownership of that task. We discussed which tasks would be immediate changes we can begin making and which would require more research and would be long-term goals.
Dorrie will work on switching from paper products during meal events and after church to reusable dishes. She will also look into setting up an adult forum where we show an IPL video that showcases a church in New Jersey that has gone green.
Vicki will work on the recycling ideas.
Bob and Martha will work on organizing an energy audit and weatherizing the buildings. Bob will also contact the city about their earth day events in case we would like to be involved.
Jen will work on seeing if we can stop using bulletins during the services and use the BCP instead.
Dee will work on getting rain barrels.
3. Our next meeting
will be on January 17th at 10:10 in the CE room, assuming the room is available. We will report back at that time with any progress we have made or concerns.
Anyone who was not able to make it to the meeting who would like to choose a task from the list above is more than welcome to do so. Please contact Vicki or Dorrie.
Closed with a prayer.
