The Health Ministry of All Souls exists to encourage good stewardship of the body as the temple of the Holy Spirit. Confident of the joy and vitality of life in Christ, the Health Ministry works to promote health and wholeness of mind, body and spirit among members of the parish and the larger community. Asking God's help in all things, the Health Ministry seeks to accomplish its mission through worship, educational programs and wellness programs.
Health Cabinet includes:
Healing Intercessors are present during Sunday liturgies to offer prayers of healing and reconciliation for individuals requesting these prayers.
Parish Nurse serves to provide information, assistance in understanding medical procedures, blood pressure screenings and general health advice.
Martha's Helpers provide meals, transportation for appointments, running errands, notes and cards, and calls to our parishoners in need.
Lay Eucharistic Ministers take communion to members of the congregration who are not able to present for liturgies.
Pastoral Care Coordinator serves to facilitate and connect Clergy and designated lay ministers to those requesting pastoral care.
