Thomas Murphy
Thomas Murphy joined the staff of the Cathedral of All Souls as an intern in the fall of 2006. Previously he worked as the assistant director of the Tennessee Justice Project and spent a year working at an orphanage in Honduras with the Young Adult Service Corps, a program run through the national church office. He also worked five summers as a counselor at Camp Henry.
Thomas graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill with a degree in religious studies and received his Master’s in comparative religion from Harvard Divinity School. Thomas and his wife Amanda live in East Asheville. He enjoys about any outdoor activity, Kraft® Brand Macaroni and Cheese, and the word perseverate.
