Rev. Rosa Lee Harden
Rosa Lee Harden’s vocational life includes being publisher of weekly
newspapers, trade journals and a business journal. She was the publisher
and owner of the Mississippi Business Journal. She was
ordained as an Episcopal Priest in 2000 and served as Vicar of Holy
Innocents Episcopal Church in San Francisco for ten years during which
time its membership tripled and its budget doubled. She is the Creative
Director of Every Voice Network and the Executive Producer of the via media
series of videos, a curriculum which has been used in approximately
1000 congregations in the Episcopal Church and in dozens of other
Anglican Churches around the world. She has been an active participant
and mentor in EFM for more than a decade and is also certified to lead
Godly Play.
For the past three years, she and her husband Kevin Jones have produced SOCAP (Social Capital Markets), a conference whose theme is the interaction of money and meaning and which is attended by over 1,000 persons from throughout the USA and the globe. This spring they are producing the first SOCAP Europe in Amsterdam.
In her volunteer life, she was, for three years, president of the Jackson, Mississippi affiliate of Habitat for Humanity during which time it became the largest per capita affiliate in the United States. She also volunteered as the assistant band director at an inner city Mississippi high school for four years which began winning superior awards during her time there. She and her husband Kevin have been married for 32 years and are the parents of two children, Bradley and B.J. Harden Jones, and grandparents to Logan and Asher. In her free time she loves to read, travel, play with her grandchildren and do needlepoint.
