Woot! Welcome in 2012!

Lets begin our year with a mind for others and hands for service.
Join us as we learn and grow together and have fun along the way.

Jan 8th - We will meet at All Souls for lunch at 12:30 before heading over to A Hope for a follow-up service project and to hear where our Welcome Home baskets have ended up!

Jan 15th - To honor Martin Luther King jr. the All Souls and Trinity EYC will meet at All Souls for the 7 Steps of Non-Violence training. This time will be lead by Steve Norris from Warren Wilson and an organizing trainer for Occupy Asheville. Meet at All Souls at 12:30 for lunch or just join us at 1:00 when we will begin our training.

Jan 22nd - Service celebration! If you have been able to participate in at least one of the above service learning projects then please join us for a celebration of your service together - we will decide between a dinner out on the town, a movie and dinner night at All Souls or a day at the climbing wall downtown and pizza!

Jan 29th - Have you heard of Sole Hope? Well, doesn't it seem fitting that All Souls would benefit this organization that ensure all soles are covered in workable shoes? Check out their website http://www.solehope.com and plan on learning more while cutting some sole patterns to send to place around the world that are learning to make shoes and placing them on peoples feet.
