I have been working through a responses to the House of Bishop's reply to the Primates Communique and in the meantime came across the response of Bishop Gene Robinson who, to say the least, has a particularly poignant place in all of this.  I find in his response many of the thoughts and emotions I have had since reading the HOB reply, and I will say, they are offered more eloquently than the words coming forth in me. 

Thus, I am placing here his response.  I find it mature, realistic, hopeful and full of the 'already and not yet' reality of our experience of God's fullness in our world.  I am grateful for Bishop Robinson's faithfulness to all persons, including those who do not recognize him as a Bishop, and for his words.
