Food, Lovingly Given

Loving Food Resources

Now in it's 25th year, Loving Food Resources provides basic need to people living with HIV/AIDS through food, health and personal care items. In 1996, LFR expanded its outreach program to those in need by extending services to those persons in home hospice care. On average, 80+ people utilize the Loving Food Resources self select food pantry each week. The total amount of food and personal care items provided to each client ranges between 30 and 75 pounds in our self-select pantry.

Our clientele consists of over 120 individuals with 18% of the population being represented by women and 29% of the population being represented by minorities with African American comprising 22%, Hispanic 4%, and Native Americans 3% respectively.

Loving Food Resources is a 100% volunteer non-profit dependent entirely on its fundraisers, small grants, and the assistance offered by good friends at Greenlife Grocery, Mountain Food Products, Atlanta Bread Company, WalMart, Amazing Savings, Farside Farms, and several area churches.

LFR is located on the campus of Kenilworth Presbyterian Church (123 Kenilworth Road) to the rear of the church building. Use Lakewood Drive & take the second driveway on the right to reach the pantry, a white wooden frame building located just behind the brick church building.
